Initial Planning Meeting
In order to develop a great relationship with our clients, Kirby Employee Benefits will discuss the following topics:
- Understand the employer’s benefit needs and objectives
- Understand the business culture of the company
- Recognize what the company views as a competitive benefit program
- Discuss employee likes and dislikes with past and current benefit program
- Review current benefit plans and rates
- Discuss prior claims experience
- Review COBRA, ACA, HIPAA and other compliance items
- Collect the appropriate information to proceed with a quote
Plan Design Meeting
We will provide:
- A side by side plan and cost comparison
- Discuss carrier selection and networks
- Discuss company budget and contribution levels
- Recommend plan design modifications or changes
- Update any pending compliance issues
Renewal Meetings
Kirby Employee Benefits will competitively bid all benefit plans when deemed necessary. In this process we will:
- Identify current competitive carriers
- Develop a side by side comparison of plan costs and benefits
- Discuss any network changes
- Review updates in any administrative changes
- Schedule an annual employee meeting
Communication Through Open Enrollment
Each year during the annual open enrollment we expect to:
- Provide an online benefit enrollment system
- Prepare employee information with individual material related to current group policies and Summary Plan Descriptions
- Provide benefit summaries, enrollment and applicable forms
- Facilitate employee meetings to discuss benefit and plan changes
- Update administrators on any carrier or insurance plan changes
- Review your Section 125 Plan
- Assist with documentation to keep you in compliance with the laws that affect your company
