Initial Planning Meeting

In order to develop a great relationship with our clients, Kirby Employee Benefits will discuss the following topics:

  • Understand the employer’s benefit needs, objectives, and problem areas
  • Understand the business culture of the company
  • Recognize what the company views as a competitive benefit program
  • Recognize what the company views as a competitive benefit program
  • Discuss employee likes and dislikes with past and current benefit program
  • Review current benefit plans and rates
  • Discuss prior claims experience
  • Review COBRA, ACA, HIPAA and other compliance items
  • Collect the appropriate information to proceed with a solution

Plan Design Meeting

During the Plan Design Meeting, Kirby Employee Benefits will provide:

  • A side by side plan and cost comparison
  • Discuss carrier selection and networks
  • Discuss company budget and contribution levels
  • Recommend plan design modifications or changes
  • Update any pending compliance issues

Renewal Meetings

Kirby Employee Benefits will competitively bid all benefit plans when deemed necessary. In this process we will:

  • Identify current competitive carriers
  • Develop a side by side comparison of plan costs and benefits
  • Discuss any network changes
  • Review updates in any administrative changes
  • Schedule an annual employee meeting

Communication Through Open Enrollment 

Each year during the annual open enrollment we expect to:

  • Provide an online benefit enrollment system
  • Prepare employee information with individual material related to current group policies and Summary Plan Descriptions
  • Provide benefit summaries, enrollment and applicable forms
  • Facilitate employee meetings to discuss benefit and plan changes
  • Update administrators on any carrier or insurance plan changes
  • Review your Section 125 Plan
  • Assist with documentation to keep you in compliance with the laws that affect your company
