Kirby Employee Benefits

Kirby Employee Benefits is a licensed insurance agency based in Florida, specializing in employee benefits and workers’ compensation insurance. We are licensed in most states across the nation so we can work with companies located most anywhere in the United States. We have been providing group employee benefits and workers’ compensation insurance to companies for well over 10 years. We can also provide PAYROLL solutions and Human Resources support.

Albert Wester, began providing employee benefits and workers’ compensation insurance in the early 2000’s, and saw an opportunity to open an independent agency in 2008. Since then, he has become a workers’ compensation specialist under Workers’ Compensation Group, Inc., and proceeded to open Kirby Employee Benefits, Inc., realizing the challenge that companies and business owners are having with group health insurance and compliance issues in our country.


Albert maintains his firm relationship with Workers’ Compensation Group, Inc., while growing Kirby Employee Benefits into a leader in the group health insurance and employee benefits marketplace.

Carol Taylor, JM-Compliance Cognate, REBC, is our Chief Operating Officer and Compliance Officer with well over 30 years of experience in the industry. Carol is an expert in all matters related to the Affordable Care Act, as well as other laws and regulations pertaining to employee benefits. She is also well-versed in alternative funding methods and helps design creative solutions and benefit plans for employers.

Giving Back

Kirby Employee Benefits maintains professional growth as members of the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals and gives back to their industry by taking active roles within the local, state and national chapters. Albert is an active member and served on their Board of Directors. Carol was the State Legislative Chair for the National Association of Benefits and Insurance Professionals – Florida for 5 years and serves on their Board of Directors currently as Vice-Chair of Professional Development. In addition, she has been an active member of the Compliance Committee since 2013 at the national level and is also an instructor and author for several of their certification programs.
